第一本奈米醫學書籍著作者---Dr. Robert A. Freitas Jr.

 

Dr. Freitas joined Zyvex in March, 2000. He has degrees in physics, psychology, and law, and has written more than 100 technical papers, book chapters, or popular articles on a diverse set of scientific, engineering, and legal topics. He co-edited the 1980 NASA feasibility analysis of self-replicating space factories and later authored the first detailed technical design study of a medical nanorobot ever published in a refereed biomedical journal.

Most recently, he authored "Nanomedicine," the first book-length technical discussion of the potential medical applications of molecular nanotechnology and medical nanorobotics.

Nanomedicine, Vol. IIA (2003), is available online here. The book is currently available for purchase at $99 in hardcover from Amazon.com here, and includes 348 pages, 6259 literature references, and an extensive index. He is now working on completing Volume III of Nanomedicine.
